Advertising Coordinator:

 

The Advertising Coordinator works closely with the Sales Representatives and Publishers to ensure accurate processing of print and digital advertising order programs.  All pertinent data is entered for tracking, ad placement, scheduling and internal documentation. The Advertising Coordinator also works with clients and advertising agencies to collect advertising material.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collect and enter ad orders along with confirming and supporting documents

• Ensure all billing information is accurate

• Contact clients, agencies and/or sales reps to secure current ad materials for all orders

• Accurately document any special request or instructions

• Review planned ad placement prior to final production

• Run sales and advertising reports as requested

 

The ideal candidate:

• Demonstrate high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills

Education and Experience:

• 2 years administrative experience

• Proficient in MS Office programs

• High School Degree or GED

• Some college coursework preferred

Directory Content Coordinator:

 

 

The Directory Content Coordinator is a vital member of the Audience Development department and responsible for compiling, verifying and entering data for Sosland Publishing directories and buyer’s guides. This position also completes the print-to-digital conversion process for all weekly and monthly publications.  The Directory Content Coordinator also acts as the primary backup for the front desk receptionist and will perform the receptionist duties for a minimum of 1.5 hours per day.

 

The ideal candidate:

• Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail and style guides

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines with accuracy

• Ability to quickly learn industry-specific and proprietary computer applications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

 

Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree or equivalent work experience

• Experience working with data collection and entry

• Experience with customer service and/or receptionist duties

• Intermediate MS Excel skills

• Publishing experience preferred
