Audience Development Coordinator


This entry-level position supports the daily operations of the Audience Development department and reports to the Director of Audience Development.


Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintains magazine schedules for printing, mailing and distribution. Provides print order instructions, maintains regular communication with printers and mailers, distributes office copies and provides oversight of inventory, archives, bound issues and off-site backstock.

• Acts as key liaison to customer database provider to ensure publication schedules are met and issue instructions are being processed accurately. Troubleshoots and resolves customer record or other database issues.

• Deploys targeted email campaigns including list selection, system set-up, testing and scheduling. Prepares monthly email activity reports.

• Handles customer subscription inquiries. Utilizes customer database for lookup and resolution. Provides circulation statistics and demographic information to support advertising department needs.

• Participates in marketing & circulation projects.  Applies proper coding to identify demographics, queries selections in database, generate prospect lists, and tracks response.

• Maintains and files records for preparation of biannual circulation statements and annual audits.

• Secures and catalogs all issues of printed publications. Schedules annual binding of bound volumes and distributes to requested locations.

• Occasionally, provide backup support for the front desk receptionist

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strategically focused and results driven self-starter

• Strong subscriber/member database management and MS Excel skills

• Creative problem-solving skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent experience in a related field

• 1 to 2 years professional experience

• E-blasts and E-newsletter deployment experience preferred

• Targeted marketing experience preferred

Sales Representative


We are seeking a dynamic and persuasive Sales Representative to engage and develop new business relationships. The Sales Representative’s role is to increase brand recognition and generate revenue through print and digital advertising sales while meeting the diversified marketing needs of our customers.



• Develop a deep understanding of each publication, it’s audience and the industry it supports

• Identify and establish new advertisers, cultivate long-standing relationships

• Utilize an investigative communication style to learn how our solutions could improve the client’s business

• Prepare professional proposals using MS PowerPoint

• Close deals

• Complete accurate and timely insertion orders for the ad coordination team and the customer

• Provide continuous follow up and customer service

• Provide activity and progress reports to management


The ideal candidate:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Competitive and tenacious with the ability to turn a rejection into an opportunity

• Knowledge of print and digital media landscapes

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent long sales cycle experience in any industry
